Dr. Diaz is the director of Eyecare Services at Florida Vision Optique and has practiced in the greater Stuart area for over 27 years.
Dr. Diaz received his B.S. in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Tampa in 1982. He went on to graduate from Southern College of Optometry with a Doctor of Optometry degree in 1986 and was a member of Beta Sigma Kappa, the international optometric honor society, upon graduation. He is a 25 year member of the Florida Optometric Association, American Optometric Association and the Treasure Coast Optometric Association.
His community involvement includes sponsorship of the Florida Oceanographic Society. Dr. Diaz resides in Stuart with his wife, Sue.
Dr. Nicole Hruban, an optometric physician, is the newest member of Florida Vision Optique. She graduated with honors from Wofford College in 2004, earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. She completed her optometric education from Indiana University School of Optometry in 2008. While at IU, Dr. Hruban was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Society and received the William Feinbloom Low Vision Award. She is Florida Board certified in therapeutic eye care including oral medications. She provides comprehensive eye care for children and adults including the fitting of contact lenses. In her scope of practice, Dr. Hruban strives to incorporate the latest optometric developments. Dr. Hruban is currently a member of the American Optometric Association, Florida Optometric Association, and Treasure Coast Optometric Association.
